Dream New Motivational Statement

Madam, Sir,

I am currently entering my second year of preparatory course for French business schools in the Lycée français of Vienna.

Nevertheless, business studies are not the future I aim.

In fact, studying in France in general is not. Nowadays our working specificities lies in the international aspect of our work, something I believe French Grandes Ecoles and Universities are late to instill. Furthermore, putting aside the professional motivation, travelling in different countries impacts and questions your life concepts at the deepest, and I believe there is nothing more beneficial from the personal point of view.

Throughout my scholarship, I emphasized the international side of the different establishments I was attending, whether by interacting with foreign schools or by engaging in Model United Nation conferences.

As far as it is concerned, the European Union scholarship to New Zealand would enable me to process the first step of my studies and life reorientation.

And what a country to start with! New Zealand has this fascinating aspect of being so far from the North Atlantic and though almost as westernized. Its part-Anglo Saxon social model would bring me great assets in life as well as its different cultures and people.

Having never left Europe, I am even more tempted to travel as far as I can, knowing how important it is to evolve in new environments, not to mention the adventure feeling that comes along.

My financial situation does not allow me to meet the expenses of such an enterprise. This scholarship will therefore give me the opportunity to focus on my studies and on the new world to discover.

I remain at your disposal to give you further elements of my motivation.

Yours sincerely,

Nicolas Gaté
